MDANTSANE YOUNG MAN RECEIVES A HOUSE AND WHEELCHAIR FROM EXECUTIVE MAYOR

Present at the event were ward councillors Nkosinathi Mndi for Ward 21, Sabelo Booi for Ward 22 and Simbongile Gulwa for Ward 23. BCMM senior officials including Head of Department Luyanda Mbula and Housing Development Agency officials were also part of the event. The event was a significant one for the family, as young Aphethuzuko also received a specialised wheelchair and dignity packs from the Executive Mayor.

The house, which is an interim arrangement, was handed over by the Executive Mayor, to the excitement of his father Lindikaya and community members. The house was delivered to the family with furniture, donated by a Good Samaritan.The furniture included a bed, couches, and a stove amongst the essentials. After seeing the quality furniture, the Executive Mayor promised to buy a television set for the family.
