Ward 1 coaching clinics programme kicks off
Ward 1 Councillor Kuhle Ciliza hosts a week-long coaching clinic programme around the Duncan Village area conducted by Chippa United Football Club.

The programme will focus on developing young players at a primary school level. Local coaches will also get an opportunity to attend a life skills programme.

During the visit Councillor Ciliza said: “This programme is part of what young people of Ward 1 wanted out of the ward allocation budge. They requested sports kit and we roped in Chippa United to help with the development of the young people’s game.”

Head of Development for Chippa United Glenn Minnie said: “Often you find that a player is good but he still needs to be taught professionalism, this programme will groom these young players to be those professionals.”

The week will end with a tournament at the North End Stadium.
