Buffalo City has been hard at work all over the Metro, with repairs of a 600 meters section of road refurbishing in Cambridge Harrison Street. The total value is R1,7 million.

The scope of the road include patching and resurfacing the road.

Another portion of Abalex and Hebbes street in Cambridge as well is also going to be done at the value of R1,5 million.

Harrison Street should be completed by the end of the week.

There is also work being done on Strand Street. Work started on Monday this week, and is anticipated to be complete by the end of July 2021.

We are doing road layerworks as well as surfacing repairs and Stormwater drainage improvements.

This will drastically improve the condition of the road. Safer, and improved riding quality.

We would like to notify residents of Buffalo City to take note that there are no full closures planned, however there will be traffic control and half width closures. The estimated cost is R 2,5 million.
