Mr Xhanti Jikwana obtained a Bachelor of Agriculture in Economics in 2001 from the University of Fort Hare. He also has a postgraduate degree; Honours in Agribusiness Management, obtained in 2007 from the University of Pretoria.
Before joining the Fresh Produce Market, He operated as an Agricultural Economists in Amathole District under Department of Rural Development and Agrarian Reform. He gained extensive knowlegde in National Government as a business developer and later became a senior Agricultural Economist in the same National Department of Agriculture. He further served as a Market Manager at Kei Fresh Produce Market in Mthatha.
