Mayor to lead Bhisho and KWT cleaning and Disinfection program Invite

Dear media colleagues;

Kindly be advised that the Executive Mayor of Buffalo City Metro, Cllr Xola Pakati, will be leading yet another clean-up campaign in the City on Friday the 17 April 2020.

The Clean-up operations will include street sweeping, grass cutting, weed picking, clearing of illegal dumps, bush clearing and gutter clearing.

The Municipality will also have its Covid 19 disinfection team onsite, decontaminating some of the areas that have been left out during the first phase of the disinfection program.

The City is taking advantage of the lockdown period to maximise on its clean-up operations on a daily basis with Fridays set aside for the Executive leadership to join In.

This Friday, the clean-up operation will be held in Bhisho and King Williams Town. This is part of the City’s efforts of implementing decisive measures that will change the face of the city forever.
