Requirements

• MBChB – Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery


• Diploma in Occupational Health


• Valid registration as a Medical Practitioner with HPCSA (Health Professions Council of South Africa)


• Valid driver’s license


• Two (2) years Management experience

Key Performance Areas

• Conducts general Occupational Health Services including pre-placement examinations and medical screening


• Performs medical surveillance assessments


• Conducts disability assessments


• Treatment of injuries and duty cases and Occupational Health hazards identification


• Handling enquires at the clinic level on various Occupational Health issues


• Provides expert advice on clinical medical issues including Occupational Health and hygiene matters to personnel in various service units
